Superior installation
I obtained bids for vinyl retrofit windows from 5 different companies. Design Windows and Doors competed on price but what sold me is the way they install retrofit sliding door units, which are very heavy. They remove the entire original aluminum frame and then install the new unit, the end result being slightly larger doors/glass area and the unit is more soundly anchored. I'm in a condo project and was concerned about stucco damage. What little there was is completely covered by the new retrofit unit regardless, just as they had assured me when I signed the contract. The drywall interior (at the sliding door unit) was trimmed out with attractive new wood moulding. I'm very happy with the entire job and have referred them to friends and neighbors.

It was a great experience working with Joe and Ray from the beginning to end. On the day of install two gentlemen came to do the job. They were polite, professional and patient with my dogs. I was extremely happy with my experience and have already recommended Design Windows and Doors.

The entire experience was great. Sales, measuring, and installation. The windows (Millard) are better than expected. Changed the whole look of the house. Amazed at how you can not seen the screen in the door! The installers were polite, professional and cleaned up well. Nice guys!

Installers were awesome! And we are still marveling about how beautiful the windows are. Changed the whole look of the home. Neighbors commented how beautiful they were also, as they watched from across the water. What is most amazing is that you can not, no imatter how hard you try, see the screen when pulled shut! We LOVE them.

First I would like to say how happy I am that I hired Design Windows. The salesman Billy was great and Martha my project manager kept me informed every step of the way. She handled the HOA approval which made the process a breeze. Oscar and his crew showed up on time and installed 15 windows and a slider in impressive timing.
